Hillary Diane Rodham Clinton is an American politician who has been a prominent figure in American politics for over three decades. Born on October 26, 1947, in Chicago, Illinois, she rose to national prominence Clinton as First Lady during her husband Bill Clinton’s presidency from 1993 to 2001. Her subsequent career in public service has made her one of the most recognizable and influential women in modern American politics.

Hillary grew up in a middle-class family with parents Hugh Rodham and Dorothy Howell Rodham, who were both involved in local Republican Party politics.
